A batching scale does not only weigh, it controls — opening and closing the material feed so the batch lands on target.
A batching scale is where weighing and control meet. Reading the weight is not enough — the equipment has to open and close the feed itself at the right moment so the batch lands on target without operator intervention.
Most of the batch is weighed in fast on coarse feed. Shortly before the target the feed is throttled and the rest trickles in fine. The switch-over point is set from how the material flows and how much is still in flight — and getting it right is what makes a batch both accurate and fast.
We supply individual batching scales into existing plant, and complete automatic batching lines including hoppers, conveying, controls and documentation. The control side is handled together with process control and programming, so dosing, visualisation and logging are designed as one piece.
In recipe-driven plants the batch record usually matters more than the weighing itself: what was dosed, when, and with what deviation. We can pass that data to your higher-level system.
| Dosing | two-stage — coarse then fine to reach the target accurately |
|---|---|
| Number of components | per recipe, one or several hoppers |
| Control | our own controller or a PLC to the plant standard |
| Records | batch and deviation logging, transfer to higher-level systems |
Parameters are indicative — the exact configuration, range and accuracy class are designed around your application.
