Weighing and force measurement

Weighing is the foundation the rest of the technology stands on. We build both the scales and the load cells, so the whole measuring chain — sensor, electronics, data — is designed as one piece.

Weighing is where this company grew up, and we have worked in it from the start. We are not a reseller — we manufacture both the strain-gauge load cells and the scales, which is what lets us deliver applications that no catalogue scale can solve.

That is usually why customers come to us: the scale has to work in dust, in heat, in motion, with vibration from surrounding equipment, or built into a machine that is already in place.

How we approach a weighing application

The first question is what is being weighed and what the result is for. A scale used in trade, where legal verification is required, needs a different design from a process scale that controls dosing on a production line. Accuracy class, load-carrier construction and the way values reach your system all follow from that answer.

Every application means solving three things at once:

  1. Mechanics — how the load reaches the cells without parasitic forces.
  2. Cells and electronics — range, accuracy class, ingress protection, environment.
  3. Data — what the weighing should trigger, record or pass on.

Weighing as part of a larger whole

Most of our scales do not stand alone. They are part of storage and conveying, production lines or packaging equipment — and in those cases we supply the whole installation, weighing, control and documentation included.

For everything we supply we also handle metrological inspection and calibration, so you need neither to track verification validity nor to employ a metrologist.

Types of scales and load cells

Pick the type of equipment by what you need to weigh. Every version is designed and built for the application.

01 Crane and hanging scales Hanging scales for loads handled on a crane — 10 kg to 50 t, designed and built in house. 02 Platform scales Weighing medium loads placed on a platform — roughly 30 kg to 600 kg, floor-standing, bench or portable. 03 Weighbridges Road weighbridges for lorries — decks from 6 to 18 m and capacities up to 60 t. 04 Axle and drive-through scales Weighing lorries axle by axle — far less civil work than a weighbridge, installed flush or above road level. 05 Belt scales Continuous weighing of bulk material on a conveyor belt — up to 20,000 kg/h, built into the conveyor frame. 06 Bagging scales Accurate filling of bags with bulk material — open-mouth and valve bags, with repeatable automatic dosing to a set weight. 07 Big-bag scales Accurate filling of bulk bags — capacities from 500 to 2,000 kg, with an adjustable-height weighing frame. 08 Batching scales and lines Automatic dosing of several components to a recipe — from a single batching scale to a complete batching line with controls. 09 Strain-gauge load cells Load cells made in house for static and dynamic measurement — accuracy class C, individually tested in our own laboratories. 10 Weighing indicators Indicators with an A/D converter for analogue and digital strain-gauge cells — from simple scales to dosing and check weighing. 11 Pallet truck scales Low-lift and high-lift pallet trucks with a built-in scale — weigh the pallet while handling it, with no trip to a scale. 12 Overload protection for lifts and cranes Protecting lifting equipment against inadmissible overload — strain-gauge cells, indicator electronics and signalling. 13 Onboard vehicle weighing A weighing system on the truck body — the load weight is known while loading, without a trip to a weighbridge. 14 Special weighing applications Weighing tasks no catalogue scale can solve — from large-capacity silos to loads carried by helicopter.
