Weighing and force measurement

Weighing indicators

The indicator decides what a scale can do: whether it only shows a weight, or controls dosing and passes data on.

Weighing indicators are a broad range of units with an A/D converter intended for strain-gauge load cells, analogue and digital alike. They allow both simple and complex weighing equipment to be assembled: from plain scales to special applications for check weighing, statistical weighing, dosing, or axle and drive-through scale duty.

What the indicator adds to the cell

A load cell on its own produces a weak analogue signal. The indicator turns it into a value, calibrates it, filters out vibration from the surroundings, and decides what happens next — whether to close a flap, print a ticket or send a record to a system.

Wireless connection and integration

We also offer indicators that support wireless cell connection, operation from a phone app, and connection to company systems. That pays off particularly on temporary installations and wherever running cable costs more than the scale.

We select the indicator from the application rather than from a catalogue — what matters is what the scale has to trigger and where the data has to go.
